Hi, I'm Hannah

Thank you for visiting my page!

I’m an Infant Massage Instructor who’s passionate about supporting families in the postnatal period and helping parents slow down, connect, and enjoy those early months with their little ones.

I’m fully qualified with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), a programme recognised worldwide for its gentle, baby-led approach. I love how baby massage strengthens bonding, builds communication, and helps babies feel calm and secure. It’s a simple, nurturing practice that supports both parent and baby.

As a mum of three, I’ve had my share of challenges, and those experiences have made me even more passionate about helping others. I care deeply about creating a community for new mums — somewhere to feel less isolated, more supported, and part of something welcoming.

To support that, I created the Touch Local Wellbeing Card, which every parent receives free when they join a course. It’s a small way to encourage self-care in the early days of parenthood, while also easing financial pressures. The card gives discounts with local businesses — from cafes and beauty treatments to fitness and wellbeing services — and aims to reduce feelings of isolation by encouraging mums to get out, look after themselves, and spend time with others.

My classes are relaxed, friendly, and small. At Beyond Midwives in Liverpool City Centre, group sizes are limited to nine parents and babies, keeping the space calm and comfortable. I also run semi-private groups (up to four) and one-to-one sessions, either from my base in Mossley Hill or in your own home.

Baby massage is suitable from birth, as long as you feel ready to get out of the house. Whether your baby is a few weeks or a few months old, you’re welcome to join when the timing feels right for you. I’m qualified to teach from birth to 12 months and can adapt sessions for children up to age seven if they have additional needs.

If you’re curious about baby massage or simply looking for a peaceful, supportive space to spend time with your baby, I’d love to welcome you.

IAIM Baby Massage

The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) was established by Vimala McClure, who was inspired by the traditional practices she observed during her time in India in the 1970s. Recognising the value of touch and connection, she aimed to introduce these nurturing techniques to families across the world while respecting their cultural origins.

The IAIM mission statement is:

‘The purpose of the International Association of Infant Massage is to promote nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research; so parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.’

This was collectively written by over 100 Certified Infant Massage Instructors during the first IAIM General Assembly, held in Orlando, Florida, in 1992.
