Why I keep my group sizes small...

I choose to keep my classes small, and that’s very much on purpose.
Smaller groups help create a calm, unhurried environment where both babies and parents can feel comfortable and supported. It also allows me to stay closely aligned with the principles of the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM), which focus on communication, respect, and responding to your baby’s individual needs.
Each session lasts around an hour and a half, giving you plenty of time to learn the strokes at a relaxed pace, respond to your baby’s needs, and enjoy some conversation with other parents.
Here’s why smaller really works:
🌿 It’s quieter and calmer: Babies respond best in peaceful spaces. A smaller group helps keep the room relaxed and free from overwhelm.
🤱 You can follow your baby’s lead: There’s no pressure to be in sync with everyone else. If your baby needs a feed, cuddle, or a break, that’s absolutely fine. The pace is baby-led.
💬 More time to connect: With fewer people, it’s easier to talk, ask questions, and feel part of the group. You’re not just another face in a busy class.
👶 Personalised support: I can give more attention to each parent-baby pair, so you feel confident learning the massage strokes and comfortable asking for help if you need it.
Baby massage is a gentle, responsive practice, and the setting should reflect that. Smaller groups allow space for learning, bonding, and connection, without the noise or rush.
