Everyone who attends one of my courses is gifted a Touch Local Wellbeing Card — a small but meaningful way to support parents to take care of themselves, build confidence, and feel more connected to their local community.

The early stages of parenthood can feel isolating. This card provides additional, informal support — gently encouraging parents to step outside, engage with their surroundings, and rebuild confidence in a way that feels safe, welcoming and manageable.

By offering discounts and incentives with independent businesses, the card makes simple activities — such as going for a coffee or accessing wellbeing services — more affordable and accessible during a time when many families are navigating increased financial pressure.

For many parents, cost can be a barrier to leaving the house. The card provides a gentle, low-pressure incentive to take that first step, helping to improve wellbeing without adding financial strain.

The card gives access to a selection of offers from independent businesses across Liverpool — including cafés, beauty and wellbeing services, and local shops and counselling services — all chosen with parents in mind.

The Touch Local Card also supports independent businesses by introducing new customers and helping increase footfall, particularly during quieter periods. This creates a mutually beneficial relationship — supporting both families and the local economy.
